The spot on sundial is a unique concept in sundial design. It tells both GMT and BST hours, is calibrated to 5 minute intervals and features a 'line of light' at noon.
It is easy to set up and secure on its plinth courtesy of its hidden fixings which can only be accessed using the special tightening tool provided.
The gnomon on a spot on sundial is finished with a machined square edge to tell the time accurately.
The sundial in the picture is reading 4.35pm.
Sundials come with the option of a square or round base. There is also an option to have your sundial engraved with up to 60 characters. Please select the appropriate links when ordering.
The brass spot on sundial does not come with an equation of time plaque but we can supply one to a size of your choice by request. Please email or phone to place an order.
When ordering, you will be asked to supply your latitude. You can find this by searching 'postcode to latitude' in google, or by a Wikipedia search of your location.
